Ι spent my early childhood in Corfu, Greece, and completed my secondary schooling in the UK. I returned to Greece in 1997, where I studied Fine Arts and earned a BA in Communication & Media studies in 2002. In 2004 I received an MA in English Literature from the University of Indianapolis, and in 2008 I earned my second MA in Western Esotericism (History), from the University of Exeter. I have just (September 2014) been awarded my PhD in Myth and Literature at the University of Essex.
I have been painting since my early teens, and trained with several distinguished Corfiot artists, including Spyros Alamanos and Aggelos Gerakaris, before enrolling at the Vakalo School of Fine Arts, in Athens, Greece. I have presented six solo art exhibitions in Greece, one in Sweden and one in the UK. I’ve also participated in international group exhibitions in Athens, Northampton, and Madrid. In early 2015 I opened ICON, a boutique art gallery in Corfu, Greece, that brings together artists and craftspeople from across Greece to showcase Greek sacred art and heraldry.
